We’ll be kicking of the Penns Valley Pedals and Pints 2024 Riding Season on May 9th in Millheim!
Park in the field behind the Millheim Fire Company. Bring any bike (yes, ebikes welcome!), a helmet, a water bottle, and a great attitude! We request a $3 donation per ride during registration (from 5:15p-6p). We have a NEW Credit Card (CC) payment option, but please bring cash just in case as we get the hang of using it. Donations by CC are $3.25 per person. Note: You also may need cash for beer at Creekside this week!
We leave promptly @ 6PM. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early to register and sign a waiver (waivers are also available to download and print online!). We welcome cyclists of any skill level on any bike. Riders under 18 years of age are welcome to ride with an adult/guardian who must sign their waiver.
Donations help to cover planning costs. Proceeds are donated to local charities such as:
Millheim Fire Company
Millheim Pool
Millheim Library
Penns Valley Conservation Association
Penns Valley Hope Fund
Penns Valley EMS
Rides are at your own pace and maps are provided for download prior to the ride. We have a support vehicle that you’ll encounter along the route and can call at any time during the ride for assistance and a lift back to the start.
Join us to celebrate after the ride with Elk Creek Cafe! Beer will be available for purchase in the Elk Creekside tent near the parking area. You can PRE-ORDER FOOD (anytime Thursday) from the Limited Take-out Menu via the Elk Creek Website for pick-up after your ride (you’ll be done between 7:00pm-7:45pm). Or, you’re welcome to head inside Elk Creek for a sit-down meal!

This Week’s Route
Download it to your phone! https://ridewithgps.com/routes/46520183
We’ll begin the season with a 19.2 mile ride that will ease you back into the saddle – Millheim to Spring Mills and back…limited elevation changes, while still getting in some beautiful views! We’ll head towards Coburn and along Penns Creek into Spring Mills. Sorry folks! Riddles has moved so no ice cream stop this time. On the way back, you’ll turn onto Paradise to Oak to Long Lane for a few gorgeous views before heading into Millheim.
For those that have not ridden with us, these rides are at your own pace. We mark the course, but it’s smart to download the route through the Happy Valley Ride with GPS link provided in case rain washes our markings away. Call the Support Truck number if you are lost or can’t finish your ride for ANY reason. Get the number at registration.
