6/25/26 – Thursday Night Ride (Gourmet Griddle)
Sponsor Spotlight: The Meandering Mallard Coffee House
Fueling rides in Penns Valley since — well, more than a decade. If you’re out and about morning to mid-day, The Meandering Mallard (previously the Inglebean) in Millheim is a natural stop before you clip in, after you roll back, or when you need a mid-ride reset. Grab a specialty coffee, a hand-crafted sandwich (Breakfast, BLT, Caprese, Rachel, Curried Chicken Salad, and more!), a bowl of soup, or something fresh from the bakery case. Weekly specials keep the menu interesting, and many ingredients come from local farms in the valley.
Dine in or take out. Free Wi-Fi if you’re waiting out a headwind. Back patio for when the sun’s out 💪.
Open daily 7am–2pm📍 106 East Main Street, Millheim, PA | meanderingmallard.com
Hi Everyone,
We’re back! And excited for another Thursday night ride with all of you. We have a lovely route planned – Green Grove Reverse.
We’ll start out with a climb up Long Ln (please stay to the right on blind turns and hill tops) to Oak with a nice descent on Paradise. Enjoy the ride out to Spring Mills along Penns Creek Rd. We’ll cross over Rt 45 and head up Allison Rd (anyone else sing the Gin Blossoms on this one??), then roll along Green Grove back to Rt 45. You’ll be on Rt 45 for roughly 400yds before turning left onto Heckman Cemetery Rd. Please ride the shoulder and listen for cars – they come up quick. Orndorff Rd will take you back onto Oak and Long Lane into Millheim.
Food Truck:
We’ll be welcoming Gourmet Griddle back to fuel our bellies with burgers, chicken sandwiches, veggie bowls and fries. Yummmm…
