6/27/24 – Brush Valley Ride

6/27/24 – Brush Valley Ride

Enjoy beautiful views everywhere during the Brush Valley ride. This route takes us right out of the parking lot through The Narrows into Rebersburg. One of the volunteers at the Millheim Fire Co. will follow us through The Narrows on the way out (give ‘em a wave of thanks on your way out!).

Safety Note: There are ruts along the shoulder of the road through the narrows so stay alert. Also, please try to ride single file as cars are passing, especially along Rt 192.

  • Park: Behind the Millheim Fire Co. in the grass.
  • Bring: A bike (any will do!), helmet, and water bottle; $3 donation requested (cash or credit accepted)
  • Waiver: You must sign a waiver once each year. Download/Print here.
  • Ride Smart! Single file as cars approach/pass, leave room for other riders to pass, stay to the right cresting hills and around curves. BE CAREFUL CROSSING RT45!

We’ll cheers with beers Elk Creekside afterwards. You are welcome to pre-order from the main menu for pickup inside at the bar after the ride (approximately 7:30pm depending on your speed).

Thanks and see you Thursday!

Short-cut 1: Skip the loop out to Rockville Road. Instead, turn left off of Rt 192 onto Town Lane Rd. (save 2.9 miles)

Short-cut 2: Skip the final loop through Madisonburg. Instead, stay straight on Smulton Road and head back toward the Narrows. (save 5.4 miles)

For those that have not ridden with us, these rides are at your own pace. We mark the course, but it’s smart to download the route through the Happy Valley Ride with GPS link provided in case rain washes our markings away.
