Hi Everyone,
What a week! The weather looks like it’s finally going to give us a break with a beautiful 76 degree ☀️ Thursday night (and a 79 degree 🌤 mostly sunny Saturday for the Brookside Bikes Ice Cream Ride!). Download the PVPP – Big Oak to Harter Loop below. This one is a hilly ride. There are options to lengthen and shorten it below.
- Stay in your lane: especially on the hills.
- Politely pass: announce “on your left” when passing other riders.
- Single up when cars pass in either direction.
Food Truck: Dubbs Grub
Their last visit of the season! Menu includes:
- Burgers: Classic or Down South

This Week’s Route:
7/23 ROUTE Download the PVPP – Big Oak to Harter Loop (17.8 miles)
Extend it: At mile 9, skip the left turn onto Harter. Stay straight on Upper Georges Valley, then turn left on Reeder, then left onto Lower Georges to rejoin the route (20.2 miles)
Shorten it: There’s a lot of hills on this route. Avoid 2 (including a big one) by skipping the Georges/Harter Loop. At mile 7.7 (the bottom of Immel Rd/Beaver Dam) turn left onto Penns Creek Rd instead of right. Follow the remainder of the route back to Millheim. (14.8 miles)
