We’re excited to spend the afternoon with PVPP Sponsor Boal City Brewing. Haven’t been? It’s a brewery with biking in their blood. Enjoy the bike museum at the entrance, fresh brews carefully crafted by Mike Smith with an innovative spirit and unmatched attention to detail, cocktails and mocktails, and an amazing atmosphere of indoor/outdoor seating you’re sure to enjoy. And this Saturday’s Food Truck? Adam and Nancy’s Paninis!
We’ll leave the brewery this Saturday at 11am, guided by BCB Founder Gordy Kauffman, for a ride around State College. Don’t want to ride in State College? That’s OK! Come for the fun! Brewery opens at noon. Get RIDE DETAILS/RSVP.

Cancellation due to potential rain. In addition, the Fire Co. is prepping to pour concrete at the pavilion and the tables and chairs have already been removed. Check out this footage from June’s unplanned Rain Ride!
Hi Everyone!
Even with the hot weather, we welcomed around 85 riders last week! Thanks all for continuing the fun with us regardless of the temps.
Gregg Twp Parade is Thursday @7pm. Please be aware of the extra traffic around Spring Mills on your way out from SC.
Thursday is currently calling for potential thunderstorms. Hopefully they miss us, but keep an eye on your email, social media or our website for cancellation announcements.

Important Safety Note:
With rain in the forecast, we may not be able to mark the route, or markings may wash away. DOWNLOAD/NOTE THE COURSE so you know where you’re going. Be aware of the sharp right turn from Bartges Rd onto Pine Creek Rd.
Ride Details:
- PVPP provides a welcoming environment for all riders, any bike and speed.
- Arrive between 5:15pm and 6pm (park in the field behind Millheim Fire Company).
- We leave promptly at 6pm for our marked 17-22 mile ride (with short-cut options).
- A PVPP support truck will be available to aid riders.
What to bring:
- Any bicycle (road, gravel, mountain, recumbent, electric, etc.)
- A helmet (this is a MUST)
- Water bottle
- $3 Donation – Credit Cards accepted (proceeds are donated to local PV charities at the end of the season)
- An appetite! Along with Jay pouring Elk Creek beers, we’ll have Adam and Nancy’s Panini Truck.
Sign the Waiver Online:
All participants need to sign the Waiver once a year. Those under 18 are welcome to join us – they’ll need to sign the paper waiver at registration along with a guardian.
This Week’s Route
Punchy PV (17.6 miles) – VIEW/DOWNLOAD
Short-cut: Skip Broad Rd to Bartges Rd, stay straight on Pine Creek Rd.
Longer Route: After turning onto Oak from Paradise, take a right onto Long Lane and return to Millheim via Coburn (21 miles).
