8/21/25 – Thursday Night Ride (PVPP Picnic)
Sunday’s unPAved led Poe Paddy Gravel Ride!
Eat Gravel for Breakfast? We know some of the HVWC ladies do *wink* and hope to see them along with the rest of the local gravel community on Sunday for a fun and rewarding 32+ mile ride through Poe Paddy – led by Cimarron Chacon, race director for the unPAved!
BE SURE TO REVIEW THE DETAILS FOR THIS ONE. Reach out to erica@pvpedalsandpints.com with questions.
Hi Everyone!
We’re excited for another week of riding! NO FOOD TRUCK this week (Grange Fair has them all occupied) so we’ll be GRILLING HOTDOGS with sides of mediterranean salad and chips for another PVPP Picnic (much like our July 3rd celebration). No charge, but donations are welcome!
State College Riders – Grange Fair is happening. Give yourself a few extra minutes as there may be extra traffic along Rt 45 and Rt 192.
Ride Details:
- PVPP provides a welcoming environment for all riders, any bike and speed.
- Arrive between 5:15pm and 6pm (park in the field behind Millheim Fire Company).
- We leave promptly at 6pm for our marked 17-22 mile ride (with short-cut options).
- A PVPP support truck will be available to aid riders.
What to bring:
- Any bicycle (road, gravel, mountain, recumbent, electric, etc.)
- A helmet (this is a MUST)
- Water bottle
- $3 Donation – Credit Cards accepted (proceeds are donated to local PV charities at the end of the season)
- An appetite! Along with Jay pouring Elk Creek beers, we’ll have hot dogs and more!
