Christkindl Market – Beer + Mulled Wine Booth
COME SEE US! Friday, December 11th from 10a-4p.
Come say “hello” at the Christkindl Market in Mifflinburg, PA where we’ll be slinging Hot Mulled Wine and authentic German beers—so authentic that after 3 years of working the booth, Erica still can’t say the names! The market makes a small donation to PVPP for the effort.
So how did we get involved? Our very own board member and “PVPP Mayor” Andy Pieters is involved with Christkindl in Mifflinburg and responsible for pre-ordering the German beers for the event months in advance! He asked if we’d like to join in on the fun, spreading the joy of GERMAN BEER while shopping hand-made goods (or watching your wife shop) at the local festival. How could we refuse?! So, we took a shift!
You’ll find “The Pub” booth in the center square near the iconic windmill among the 100+ booths, displays and stages. The festival includes authentic German and other handcrafted goods (really!), food and entertainment. We recommend the Schnitzel from the booth across from us + a beer!
If not retired, we encourage you all to play hooky and join us in a little holiday cheer! And yes…we believe 10am is a perfectly reasonable time to start drinking during the holidays.
