Hey All!
After several weeks of hilly routes, we’re going to take an easy ride through The Millheim Narrows into Rebersburg for the Back Road Route. Yes, this is the same route we had to cancel two weeks ago. We will have an escort from the Millheim Fire Company to follow us through the Narrows and hold off traffic. Regardless, please stay in your lane and prepare to ride single file as cars and other riders pass. It’s called “The Narrows” for a reason!
NOTE: Creekside will have beer but will NOT have food this week. We encourage you to PRE-ORDER through their website, which has been updated to reflect the new menu. Pick up after the ride at the bar and return to Creekside to enjoy with other riders. You are also welcome to get a table inside and order from the full menu.
REMINDERS:
Park: Behind the Millheim Fire Co. in the grass.
Bring: A bike (any will do, even e-bikes!), helmet, and water bottle; $3 donation requested (cash or credit accepted) – proceeds benefit local charities (Millheim Pool, Millheim Fire Company, Penns Valley Library, Hope Fund, PV EMS, PVCA, etc.).
Waiver: You must sign a waiver once each year. Download ahead/Print here.
Ride Smart! Single file as cars approach/pass, leave room for other riders to pass, stay to the right cresting hills and around curves. STAY IN YOUR LANE!
Thanks and see you Thursday!

Short Cut (14.2 miles): Skip the Broad St. to Rockville Rd. loop. In the town of Rebersburg, turn left at the church in Rebersburg onto Town Lane Rd.

For those that have not ridden with us, these rides are at your own pace. We mark the course, but it’s smart to download the route through the Happy Valley Ride with GPS link provided in case rain washes our markings away.
