Sponsor Ride: Freeze Thaw Cycles + Cranksgiving

It’s Cranksgiving!
Join us at Freeze Thaw Cycles to set off for CRANKSGIVING! A fun ride with a great mission!
REGISTER HERE: https://cranksgivingstatecollege.com/
We’ll meet up at Freeze Thaw Cycles‘ NEW location on West College Ave. Arrive early for a quick walk through of the shop and check out the bike museum. Together we’ll head over to Videon for the 10am start of CentreBike’s Cranksgiving – a bicycle powered food drive! Bring a bike, a bag or panniers, and $20+. Riders will visit local grocery stores and purchase non-perishable food items to donate to the Youth Service Bureau. We’ll return to Videon and drop off our goods, stay for the $2000 in prizes, and then back to Freeze Thaw.
We’ll then head over to Boal City Brewing for beers and cheers to a job well done!
Order a Cranksgiving T-shirt!
With 15 different color options, men’s and women’s sizes/fits, you’ll have the perfect Thanksgiving t-shirt to wear come Turkey Day and a great way to remember this fun ride.
There’s also a totebag available to carry your goodies in.
Sponsor Highlight: Freeze Thaw Cycles
Freeze Thaw Cycles is one of our original sponsors located in State College, PA, (soon to be moving from Allen St. to W. College Ave., where they can better display their bike museum!). Proud to serve a variety of cyclists including Families, Beginners, Commuters, Racers, Cross-Country Journeyers, Gravel Enthusiasts, Epic Mountain Trail Seekers and any future category of bicycle riding that is yet to be discovered and embraced. Their crew specializes in finding you the perfect bicycle and outfitting you with the right gear for any adventure you have in mind. Freeze Thaw also hosts Wednesday evening gravel rides – grab your bike, a light and get out to Tussey on these NO DROP rides. Follow them on facebook or instagram for ride info and updates.
Sponsor Highlight: CentreBike
CentreBike is the voice for slow and fast bicyclists in the Centre Region. CentreBike is a 501(c) organization, founded in 2000, to help facilitate the vision of a more cycle-friendly community in the greater State College area. We are a coalition of cyclists working for cyclists, with the goal of promoting bicycling as a means of recreation and transportation. Our interests include bicycling advocacy, rider education, bicycling safety & awareness, riding opportunities for all ages, and encouraging more bicycling in the area. The common thread is that we love to ride, whether it be on the way to work, on singletrack through the forest, or on rolling back country roads.
