The Jersey Story
A cycling club just wouldn’t be complete without a ‘team’ jersey. But we’re not a hard core cycling club. We just wanted something cool to wear (literally, it’s hot out there!) with a design that captured what we’re all about.
After joining us for the 2017 season, local resident Erica Thumma took the initiative to draft a Penns Valley Pedals and Pints jersey design. And she nailed it – sunset road rides along creeks and over hillsides with our goal at the end of the road. If you look closely, the fun illustration even includes our “Bike Riders Ahead” sign.
When our group participated in the Ride of Silence in 2019, it was fun to see Pedals and Pints well represented among some of the most serious local cycling groups.
Since, riders have worn their jerseys on touring rides across the US and as far as Canada, Antarctica, New Zealand, Tasmania and Australia. Thanks, all!!
But what we love the most is when you’re out and about riding solo, you always know you have another friend on the road when you see a Penns Valley Pedals and Pints Jersey.
How to Buy a Jersey
We’ve been taking Penns Valley Pedals and Pints Jersey orders for the past several years and have around 200 jerseys out there.
We need to order a minimum of 10 jerseys at a time. So, we’re taking pre-orders now. If we get enough interested, we’ll send you an email where you can pay via credit card.
Jerseys are $76-$82. No profit is taken…that’s just the cost passed on to you.

Penns Valley Pedals and Pints Jersey
These are the Elevate Jersey from Agile Sportswear, formerly Ascend who we ordered from last year. They tend to run about a size smaller in larger sizes. Please check sizing charts carefully so you get a perfect fit! Sizes may not align with your favorite ‘retail’ brands.
Relaxed Cut – A relaxed non tailored cut for those looking for more of a T-shirt fit or a more relaxed mid section fit.
Sport Cut – A semi-tailored cut that offers riders from recreational to competitive a sporty but not overly tight or firm fit.
